Vintage 8k Yellow Gold Ring with Turquoises, 1950s

About This Piece

This vintage ring, dating back to the 1950s, truly catches the eye, and this is thanks to the perfect combination of shape and materials. The first reminds me a lot of the image of a bouquet, with all the flowers arranged perfectly next to each other; and the latter are ideally represented by the stones that decorate the ring, that is, wonderful turquoises, all of round cabochon cut and each inserted inside its multi-prong setting, which highlights them clearly; the stones are positioned in such a way as to fill the entire width of the ring, which creates a dome shape that can be appreciated especially when you have the ring on your finger. Turquoises are obviously characterized by the typical color which is also the reason for their name: they are almost all of the same shade, with the exception of one which has a more greenish colour. The setting is entirely in 8K yellow gold, the perfect color to highlight the various colors and all the shades.
