Italian Bleached Walnut Chest of Drawers

Stunning chest of drawers hand-made in Italy using walnut and decorated with walnut book-matched veneer. The long legs, light color and beautiful grain of the wood give this piece a very elegant and somber look, while also helping it stand out from the crowd. The bleached walnut decorates the drawer fronts with beautiful striations of grey and ivory interrupted by dark grey knowts in the wood. The symmetry in the decoration give the commode harmony and make it really a unique piece.
The commode presents three inset drawers, the top one a little thinner than the other two, the front corners are decorated with two flat columns ending in long, tapered legs. The sides are made of flat, inset panels framed by flat molding. The top is also veneered with walnut sheets like the rest of the chest of drawers, and presents ogee edges and square corners.
This is a very unique piece with beautiful proportions and slender appearance, despite being quite large. The light and decorations give it an ephemeral look, which will add decoration to any room without overpowering any other piece already present.
