Vintage Design

A design by Theo Ruth for Artifort, type "Congo" It is a so -called Easychair / lounge chair in lacquered wood and light -colored fabric, the design is Dutch, and from 1952. These seats have a unique construction, forced by tension and gravity. The backrest and seat are two separate elements that fit together and thus form the chair. This design is inspired by African seats, hence the name "Congo". This copy comes from the original owners who bought the furniture piece in the mid -1950s. The armchair is in an original very neat and beautifully used vintage condition and immediately ready for use. The beautiful light colorful fabric is a heavy quality furniture fabric that has been professionally applied in recent decades.
