About This Piece

Polychrome sculpture made of linden wood. It comes from Central Europe (Czech Republic, Austria, Hungary). It is dated to the 15-16th century. Preserved in good condition. Paint chips in places mentioned. There is an original nail on the foot, the hands are missing. A fantastic example of sacred art from five centuries ago.
