Object: Desk Epoch & Style: Late 19th to early 20th century Features - elegant and practical furniture with a beautiful design language - original furniture from the period in a refurbished and ready-to-use condition - decorated and embellished with carvings, profiles and frames - solid wood construction, outside in Walnut and oak veneered on the inside and solidly made - renewed hand-polished shellac surface - cover plate with all-round profiled edge - body in Frame construction - frame with two smooth-running deep drawers and arched paneling in between - in the lower area two paneled doors with profiled cutouts and elaborately florally carved fillings - behind the doors: :: on the left a shelf, adjustable in height using toothed strips :: on the right three practical open drawers - Pleasant seating comfort thanks to the extended height of the seating area - stands on a substructure typical of the era, with turned feet at the front - matching fittings made of brass - key available, lockable - good quality, durable, sustainable The furniture is in good, refurbished condition with small signs of age-related wear.
