Vintage Design

This flat desk in solid and veneered mahogany, in the Return of Egypt style, dating from the beginning of the 20th century, is an exceptional piece of furniture.
The top is covered in a green leather with vignette and patterns, adding a touch of sophistication and refinement.
Two sliding shelves extend the work surface, providing additional functionality.
The desk opens on the left with two drawers, a larger central drawer and on the right a drawer with two fronts containing a reserve equipped with a lock.
These drawers are decorated with entrances decorated with gilded bronze swans and authentic locks, testifying to the attention to detail and quality of manufacturing.
The uprights of the desk are decorated with caryatids and palmettes, adding an artistic and historical dimension to the whole.
The whole thing rests on four legs with a lion's claw shoe, giving the desk stability and a majestic appearance.
This desk is not only a functional piece of furniture, but also a work of art that perfectly illustrates the style and aesthetic of the Return from Egypt.
