A striking example of late 20th-century Italian postmodern design, this sculptural marble fountain titled “Martina” was created in 1989 by the influential architect and designer Andrea Branzi.

The piece combines Bardiglio Imperiale, Grigio Olivo, and Bianco Carrara marble, showcasing a sophisticated interplay of color, texture, and geometry. The tall, arched backplate is elegantly tiled in a diamond motif, while the smooth oval basin below exudes a sense of both solidity and refined craftsmanship. The composition balances architectural rigor with playful abstraction—hallmarks of Branzi’s work.

This rare fountain is in excellent original condition, retaining its crisp lines and beautiful surface patina. Both functional and highly sculptural, it can serve as a statement piece in interior or covered exterior spaces.
