About This Piece

Vintage Design

Italian wall sconce from the 1950s, defined by a curved black lacquered brass stem, spherical opaline glass diffuser and round green lacquered brass wall plate.

The arched structure gives the lamp a light, graphic silhouette, while the contrast between the deep green backplate, black lacquered brass and satin white glass creates a distinctive mid-century composition. Small brass fixing elements add a warm metallic detail to the design.

The lacquered surfaces show minor signs of age and use, while the opaline glass globe is in good vintage condition. Overall in good vintage condition.

Vintage original fixture, wired, functional and in working condition. Suitable for use in Europe and the US with appropriate bulbs, but not certified to current UL or other contemporary national standards. Professional installation recommended.

Fitted with standard E14 socket.

Wall plate diameter: 12 cm / 4.72 in.
