About This Piece

Vintage Design

Pair of Italian wall sconces from the 1950s, combining a sculptural brass structure with spherical opaline glass diffusers in a distinctive mid-century modern design.
Each vintage fixture features a round brass wall plate supporting a darkened brass tubular arm with a gently curved profile and decorative coiled detail. The opaline glass globe is finished with a patined metal upper cap, creating a balanced contrast between the warm aged metal and the satin white glass.
The brass surfaces retain a natural vintage patina, with oxidation, tonal variations and small signs of age consistent with time and use. The opaline glass globes are in good vintage condition with minor signs of wear.
Original vintage fixtures, wired, functional and in working condition. Suitable for use in Europe and the US with appropriate bulbs, but not certified to current UL or other contemporary national standards. Professional installation recommended.
Fitted with standard E14 sockets.
Wall plate diameter: 10 cm / 3.94 in.
