About This Piece

Vintage Design

Pair of Italian wall lamps dating from the 1950s, featuring a refined mid-century modern design in brass and opaline glass. Each sconce is built around a round brass wall plate and a distinctive curved, ribbed brass element framing the diffuser.
The elongated opaline glass shades have softly rounded sides and are held by small metal pins, creating a clean and balanced composition. These vintage appliqués combine decorative brass detailing with a light, architectural silhouette typical of Italian lighting from the period.
The brass shows its original patina, with oxidation, tonal variations and light signs of age consistent with vintage use. The opaline glass diffusers are in good vintage condition with minor signs of wear.
Vintage original fixtures. Wired, functional and in working condition. Suitable for use in Europe and the US with appropriate bulbs, but not certified to current UL or other contemporary national standards. Professional installation recommended.
Fitted with standard E14 sockets.
Wall plate diameter: 12 cm / 4.72 in.
