Vintage Danish Teak Side Table, 1960s

Classic Danish teak sideboard from the 1960s shows the quality of mid-century carpentry with solid teak details, especially in nicely sculptured half almond handles and solid oak wood curved base. There is also exceptionally well matched veneer on the front, consistent throughout the piece that looks like a painting (that is often seen on best Danish MCM furniture). It features three drawers and cabinet with drop down lockable doors, with two internal drawers and shelf, perfect to hide some documents in your home office, or just for small items in the leaving room. This part of the sideboard can serve also as a bar cabinet (the middle shelve is removable) Another special feature are the inner two drawers finished in walnut burlap and inlayed with gren felt extremely elegant and emphasising the class of the piece.

The sideboard is in fantastic condition, All the wood has been cleaned with professional compounds to enhance its natural beauty. Couple of layers of Danish oil have been applied for protection and to enhance the grain. Drawers are clean and unscented. Base is detachable, providing more convenient transport.
