About This Piece

Contemporary Design

In India and China you can find the earliest finds of a link between flower and love. The 4000-year old finds tell us something about the flower's symbolic role for life and romance. The mirror True Romance stems from a love for the organic and early Japonism. Thoughts are drawn to the Art nouveau era, the peak of craftsmanship and the glory days of the organic with a high level of craftsmanship and a near floral shape. Curved ash brings out the shape of this mirror.
