Exceptional Contemporary Design

Structural Skin is a self-produced material made out of leftovers and offcuts from the leather industry. For the latest application of this special material, Spanish designer Jorge Penadés looks to lighting in this case translating the material into a collection of self-produced table lamps based on the intersection of different planes. The objective remains the same: Emphasize the priviledged patterns and textures created with this self-produced, wholly unique material.Those objects were presented at Rossana Orlandi during Milan Design Week 2017.
