This young woman has an ivory face and hands. It is signed on the base with drypoint "Van der Straeten". It is a magnificent piece, of incredible quality and elegance. It is also a rare sculpture because Georges Van Der Straeten, a great Belgian sculptor, mainly produced bronzes. This statue is in very good condition and of very high quality.
