Postmodern Silhouette Standing Floor Mirror by Pierre Cardin for Acerbis, 1980s

Distinguish your living space with a curated design piece that reflects your unique style. This exceptional early 1980s "Narciso" floor mirror, produced by the avant-garde Italian brand Acerbis, beautifully embodies the playful intellect and sculptural freedom of post-modern design.

The structural composition plays with gravity and materials in a spectacular way. The upper body features a beautifully stylized human silhouette mirror with a durable, protective structural plastic backing. This sleek form slots directly and seamlessly into a heavy, monolithic cubic base crafted from genuine, sandblasted Pietra Serena stone. The exact engineering creates a perfect, counter-weighted equilibrium, keeping the mirror effortlessly upright without requiring wall mounts.

This piece is completely original, carefully inspected, and professionally detailed for immediate turn-key placement. Reflecting its genuine vintage journey, the glass and structural elements show only light, normal signs of age that do not compromise its arresting aesthetics or functional reflection.

How to clean and maintain these unique surfaces? For the mirrored silhouette, use a soft microfiber cloth lightly misted with a specialized alcohol-based glass cleaner. Always wipe in circular motions to eliminate smudges without leaving streaks.

The sandblasted stone base is naturally porous. Clean it using only a dry, soft-bristle brush to remove dust from the texture. If needed, a cloth slightly dampened with water is acceptable, but avoid soaking.

Keep harsh chemical detergents, oils, or acid-based cleaners completely away from the Pietra Serena block, as they can permanently stain or alter the stone's rare matte finish.
