Mid-Century Morex Swivel Coffee Table in Glass and Chrome-Plated Steel attributed to Milo Baughman, 1970s

Magnificent vintage Morex coffee table, dating from the 1970s and attributed to the American designer Milo Baughman.

This spectacularly designed piece is distinguished by its silver chromed tubular steel base and three circular glass tops. The tops are mounted on articulated arms and pivot individually, allowing the table's configuration to be changed and its surface area to be fully extended.

A true Space Age/Mid-Century Modern design piece, with a sculptural and highly graphic silhouette. When folded, it remains relatively compact; when extended, it becomes a generously sized and particularly original coffee table.

The Morex model is documented as an Italian production from the 1970s and appears on the vintage design market under various names, notably as the Morex table in the style of Baughman or attributed to him.
