Vintage Design

Timeless Danish craftsmanship from the heyday of mid-century design: These two solid teak armchairs, designed by Niels Haugaard & Bondo Gravesen in the 1960s, combine simple elegance, ergonomic design, and excellent craftsmanship.

The finely curved armrests and harmonious proportions give the chairs a particularly refined, sculptural appearance. Whether as stylish dining room chairs, desk chairs, or accent pieces in the living room, they bring the warm, authentic character of Scandinavian design to any interior.

One of the chairs is marked: it was formerly owned by Kjøbenhavns Handelsbanken. Remains of the manufacturer's label are also visible, and parts of the "Bondo Gravesen" lettering are visible.

Condition: very good, carefully maintained, with a beautiful patina. A fantastic pair of original Danish design classics – rare, collectible, and ready to use.
