About This Piece

Vintage Design

A superb Louis XV style corner cabinet in solid cherry wood, dating from the early 20th century, skillfully restored to integrate elegantly into a contemporary interior while preserving all its original charm.

This triangular corner cabinet captivates with its characteristic Louis XV curved front and its new finish in Libéron paint in the shade "Neptune Blue": a deep, velvety Neptune blue, as enchanting as it is sophisticated. The exposed top, protected by a natural matte varnish, offers a warm and authentic contrast with the blue hue of the cabinet.

The cabinet features a practical central drawer and two framed, molded panel doors, revealing the excellent original joinery. The original brass hardware is remarkable: bamboo-patterned hinges, fleur-de-lis keyhole escutcheons, and a delicate heart-shaped handle—all details that contrast beautifully with the deep blue of the cabinet and attest to the care taken in its creation.

Carefully restored, this unique piece blends French craftsmanship with contemporary design sensibilities. Ideal for cleverly utilizing a corner while adding a touch of color and character.
