About This Piece

Superb imposing decorative sculpture Venus, naked female trunk, in glazed art sandstone and signed light brown with sandblasted texture. Section from the chest to the top of the thighs. Handicraft signed JMB, to be identified, dated 06/90 on the left side. Pretty curves, brutalist & modernist style, in the style of an ethnic and primordial Venus. Positioned on the back, 26cm in length, 15-16cm in height, approximately 22cm in width. Very good condition, some cooking cracks, a small chip or manufacturing grain on the right nipple. Very heavy. 8kg.
