Vintage Design

Exquisite antique Art Deco chandelier, a monumental masterpiece designed by Maurice Dufrene in 1925. Showcasing six elegant arms with twelve luminous lights, expertly crafted from gilded bronze. The frame is adorned with striking geometric motifs and intricate fruit basket embellishments, embodying the timeless elegance of the Art Deco era.

The centrepiece features a large, acid-etched glass dome signed by Daum Nancy. The centrepiece is lit up by 6 lights, creating a striking scene with the glass mastery of Daum. The 6 arms are also decorated with large, gorgeous Daum glass shades. The combination of Maurice Dufrene's bronze and Daums mastery of glass creates a breathtaking harmony of both design and material.

The chandelier is fully rewired and ready for years of use (heavy bronze frame).
This rare and impressive piece is a true testament to the artistry of the 1920s. Perfect for adding grandeur and historical charm to any distinguished space.

Condition: Some chips on the large daum Nancy centrepiece. The centrepiece can't be removed from the frame, and as a result, the glass got chipped against the bronze during its 100-year lifespan. You can't see the chips when lit because they are inside the bronze frame.
