About This Piece

This stunning sculpture is an Archaic Bronze Han Dynasty Style Tang "Heavenly Horse", a Chinese ritual horse that would have been a funerary offering for the tomb of an elite Chinese man, the intention being for the owner of the tomb to use the horse to pull his chariot in the afterlife. This Horse sculpture is very large in size and works amazing as a focal point to any room. Its large size and patination make it a truly unique item.
