Sn5624 Fine quality late XIXth century French mahogany writing desk of generous proportions, having original tooled green leather to the top which has a brass edge flanked by two sliders with leather insets above three moulded and oak lined frieze drawers, all fitted with brass escutcheons, working locks and a key, standing on four turned, fluted and reeded tapered legs terminating in brass cups and. This antique desk is polished to each side enabling free standing. The desk has been sympathetically restored and is in home ready condition. c1890
