La Contessa Arreda
Situated just outside of Rome, La Contessa Arreda is the boutique brainchild of experienced collectors Claudio Marchesi and Andreas Bruzelius Berger. The pair specialise in Italian design between 1950-80, a period in which interiors are being reimagined by the likes of Willy Rizzo, Romeo Rega and a variety of Italian artists and designers. La Contessa Arreda focus on works from their country but also expand beyond that to midcentury style in general. Aside from sourcing these vintage varieties, La Contessa also emphasize the process of restoring, be it wood, metal, stone or fabric upholstery.
