Exceptional Contemporary Design

The Dandelion ceramic was created by Alvina Jakobsson, a Swedish artist and former student at the prestigious Konstfack University of Arts, Crafts and Design. Her last exhibition was with SEART (Sweden's Emerging Art) and the world touring Young Swedish Design 2018. Jakobsson formulates her work through ceramic sculpture and handmade patterns. By combining small parts into larger pieces, she gradually finds her story and strength. Clay has an ability to act light and passionate but is, in fact, heavy and calm - something Jakobsson uses in her interpretations. It's not unusual that her sculptures are taken for textiles. When this confusion occurs, materiality flows freely and opens up for greater associations. 'Uncategorized' is Jakobsson's constant companion.

The delivery partner will email and/or call you at least one day in advance to arrange a delivery time. A wooden crate may be used for intercontinental shipments for maximum protection. Item will be left in its packaging after delivery. A signature will be required upon delivery.
