About This Piece

Vintage Design

Classic, elegant secretary desk in beautiful walnut grain, veneered headboard, drawer with box lock underneath, followed by the cabinet, 3 drawers with masonry look at the bottom, 3 more drawers on the right and left, 3 pull-out letter compartments at the top, behind which are hollow spaces for storage, in the center a beautiful vault with a hall of mirrors and columns, completely pull-out, behind which is a narrow shelf for papers, inlaid with marquetry decorations on the pilaster strips and the lower crossbar, carefully restored and hand-polished with shellac, body rests on conical feet.
