About This Piece

Antique oil painting depicting a forest with a palm tree in the foreground, giving the scene a jungle feel. The painting is beautifully luminous.

It is framed in a gilt wood and stucco frame with floral motifs. The simplicity of the painting contrasts with the more elaborate and stucco work outside the frame.

Signed at the bottom of the canvas: Carlos Padron 1979.

The canvas is in good condition; however, the frame has some imperfections and a few losses to the stucco – the price reflects this.
