Standing secretary Epoch & style: Biedermeier - 1st half of the 19th century Characteristics - veneered in walnut, partly solid - cover plate with all-round profile - drawer and side walls are slightly bulbous in the upper area - veneer picture folded four times on the front in the upper drawer as well as the writing board underneath - interior fittings: :: ten drawers of different sizes :: open compartment in the middle with a small shelf :: knobs Drawers made of brass - resilient writing plate with two retractable struts - underneath a double-coffered door with carved curved openings and fillings made of solid walnut - behind it a wide shelf - stands on turned and fluted feet at the front - curved base above - key guides made of natural material - key available The standing secretary is located is in good condition with age-related signs of wear.
