Antique Howard & Son’s Berners Street Linen Press – Light Oak, ca. 1880–1900 A rare and highly collectible Howard & Son’s Berners Street linen press chest of drawers , crafted entirely in light oak and retaining its fully original condition . This exceptional piece bears both the Howard & Son’s label and a stamped mark inside the drawer (see photos). The press is configured with four sliding drawers above , intended for linen storage, and six larger drawers below , all finely constructed with the quality associated with Howard & Son’s — widely regarded as the finest seating and cabinet maker in history.
